luckily, Mother's Day is not one of them!
Unfortunately, we're still knee-deep in 2020's pandemic; but a small silver lining is that just about Every-thing is on super sale right now making it a bit easier (on our pockets) to send the mommas in our lives [who most of us can't be with atm] a little gift of appreciation. Obviously, this Mother’s Day will be a little different than the rest - It’s hard to know what to gift someone when life really isn’t the way we're used to it being, but here we've put together a small list of things that might just make her social isolating a little more pleasant and enjoyable.

The Great thing about linen (and linen type) robes is how lightweight they feel against your skin. The material is perfect for year round wear, it keeps you cool in the warmer months and staves off the chill of colder ones. A good linen robe is not rough and never clingy. I prefer the longer length of P.B.'s version at 40.5" long for the XS|S and 42.5" long for the M|L. Serena & Lily's version is a bit shorter at 37” long for the S|M and 38.5” long for the L|XL and it comes in more colorways which is nice. Brownie points if you get her slippers to go with her new robe!

I stumbled upon Morgan's site because my sister's BFF worked alongside her a couple of years ago. It's hard to commit to buying scents of any sort unless you can sample them first but after stellar reviews from her customers and my own family, I gave it a whirl. Let. Me. Tell. You. Every scent I purchased was described spectacularly. What I especially love are her room and linen sprays, every other night or so I spritz all the sofas/beds/pillows and it is just glorious! Even my kids love it, and they're a hard crowd to please. Most linen sprays are either overwhelming or disappear in less than 2 minutes. I don't know How she does it, but she strikes The Perfect Balance. As the scent fades it doesn't shift to something strange or chemical, it simply lessens and softens til it's gone. She's completely transparent about all the ingredients that go into her products (from scented match sticks to seasonal candles to car/room tassels) and I love that.
Milk and Honey Luxuries has been featured in over 50 publications, several online shops and personal blogs; it's run by a husband and wife team from VA - who also run Etsy shop Wildly Inappropriate [check it out, it's great!]. I can personally vouch for this shop's quality product, I gifted one to my gma last Christmas and it's held up beautifully. Now, with our extra time spent at home, we are all (obviously) also cooking and baking A LOT more than usual. Might as well make it fun and cute with this modern personalized cutting board - which comes in many different styles, sizes and finishes. It is custom engraved with the name and date of your choosing, which makes it a functional gift and gorgeous decor piece when not in use.
This gift from Gold Hill Jewelry [Etsy], is geared more towards the sentimental mom or anyone with small children/grandchildren and it's easily my favorite of the bunch. As a new and small company, we're unable to customize fine jewelry just yet [#Goals] so, for now, we buy things like this gorgeous piece to fill that void, all the while supporting another small business - there's room for all of us here and I hope we all succeed and achieve our goals. That being said, what caught my eye about this piece is the pendant style. Most pendant necklaces have dangling charms and initials that can easily tangle/fall off and need replacing or be pulled at by our littles that are still in the totable stage. This girl is gorge! It's dainty and the initials are laid nicely within the links of the chain; it's that extra little touch that makes it stand out from the rest. Their options in material and color cover all bases and you can choose up to 7 initial letters - all at a reasonable price point! [they also carry rings, necklace extenders and gorgeous name plates] Personally, I love that they offer a solid gold option and their chain lengths range from 12" - 22"; 17" being the most ideal, it makes it an everyday wearable piece that won't tarnish or fade and can easily be layered with your favorite necklaces. So, there's no need for worry if you accidentally shower with your personalized chain on, makes life That much simpler.
Now, you Know we had to include a thing or two from our own inventory. The Alana [bracelet] and Whitney [earrings] are classic pieces that would both pair nicely with No. 4 (should you receive or gift one) and can both be worn dressed up or with your fav jeans and tee combo. They're perfect for women of all ages - stylistically, and there's just something sweet and delicate about the dainty necklace paired with the over-under pearl and gold earring; toss in our modern bangle and it's a golden trio made in fashion heaven!
